1.
The most powerful picture to me is the one when hes leaving and his brother and dad are hugging him and crying and the car is there waiting for him so he can go get registered. Its powerful because it shows how his family is going to miss him and hes going away to the army, how its hurting the family.? The capture of the picture is very strong because it focuses on him and his brother and dad. I think the sequence of "Signing Up"  is that like it shows how he when him and his dad first talks about and then continues with how he lives and how his life was before he went..

2.
It is in present tense.
It gives a fuller and more deeper felling to the photo now that you know whats really going on in the picture.

3.
1. Enjoying a friendly game of arm wrestling, while others enjoy the game too. Loving the little time that they get off.

2. Talking on the phone as he rest, he holds a gun for his safety, living in fear.

3. Appreciating his time home;  he sits and holding his girlfriends' hand.
