Japanese Earthquake

 I find this photo very sad, and dramatic. I just think to myself how horrible it must be for then. It makes me feel so lucky and thankful I am to have a home and a bed to sleep in. Just thinking about not even 2 weeks ago they had everything. A home, a bed, a family and in a matter of minutes their life was turned around and lost everything.

This photo in my opinion isn't that great until you see the dead hand there on the left side. The photo seems to try to get you emotional and see that people died and suffered from this earthquake.This picture makes me sad because it looks like a baby hand and so the baby got crushed in the earthquake by the rocks. Rule of thirds ?

 This photo really made me think. I can't really relate to this girl, but I can in a way because she a teenager. I can't imagine whats going in her head right now. But I'm pretty sure she lot everything from just seeing how alone she is. No home, no family, probably lost her boyfriend in this to. Everything and everyone gone. I don't know what I'd do if I were her. When everything you know is destroyed where would you go, how can she get help.

touching people

1. What do you think about this project and photo essay? I think that this is a good project and essay, it sounds like it was kind of fun to see what people really think about it.
2. What would you do if someone approached you with a camera and asked you to participate in a photo shoot and then asked you to touch a stranger? Most likely i would not do it because i would feel really weird taking a picture with someone i don't know.
3. Think of an unusual photo shoot similar to this one that you think would be fun to go and shoot.
Touching noses. I think this would be fun because showing people touching their noses would bring out the humor and show to be funny.

4. Finally, tell me what you thought of the photography, did the photographer think about the rules of photography that you know about? What types of photos did he take?

 I think that the photographer did an okay job, on some he did follow the rules of photography but on others he didn't. Some of his photos were really good and others weren't really as good. The photographer didn't do so much of a bad job, the pictures were good to me.
