Assingment #2

This Picture Reminds Me Of Simplicity Because The Person That Is Walking Is Center Of Attention. This Picture Stroked Me Because To Me Its Saying That The Person Has Hope And Is Waiting For It To Come Or Is Trying To Go To It.
This Would Have To Fall Under Framing Because The Lady Is Like Saying That Something Needs To Come Or Is Going To And She Needs Help. And Shes Worried About Whats Going To Happen Or That Shes Missing A Family Member..?

Great black and white photographers, PART 2

Berenice Abbott
Was Born On July, 17, 1898 In Springfield, Ohio. Died December 10 1991 In Monson, Maine. She Studied At Ohio State University In Columbus And Was Looking Forward To Be A Journalist. And Soon After In 1918 She Visited New York And She Liked The Village That They Had There Named The Greenwich Village, Then A Little After She Stopped Her Studies And Moved To Greenwich Village. When Berenice Was In New York City She Had Got A Job With Marcel Duchamp And  Man Ray As Being Their Assistant. Later In 1919 Berenice Almost Died Of Influenza. She Was So Amazed About How Much New York City Had For Photography And Thats Where Her First Picture Was Taken.  Her First Book That She Published Was "Changing New York" And Later Wrote Other Ones.

Pinhole

The Picture Is On The Opposite Side And The Colors Are Switched And The Colors Are Brighter And Some Spots Are Darker Than Others, The Spots That Had Some Sunlight.
Negative: noting an image in which the brightness values of the subject are reproduced so that the lightest areas are shown as the darkest. Negative Photography: A negative image is a total inversion of a positive image, in which light areas appear dark and vice versa.
My Negative Looks Different Because The Brightness Has Been Changed And The Dark Areas Are Now Lighter Than The Light Areas On The Negative.

Six Compostions Of Photography

Six Rules Of Composition.
Simplicity:
The Chief Of Police Is In The Center Of Attention And That Means That Shes Center Of Attention And The Flags There But Its Still Only Focused On Her.
 Rule Of Thirds:
The President Is Coming From The Left Side So It Gives You More Sense That Hes Going To Move More So Thats Why Its In The Category For Rule Of Thirds, To Show Where Hes Going To Go.
Lines:
You Can See All The Lines On The Building And The Way There Going So It Falls Into The Lines Category.
Balance:

You Can See The Shape From The Side Of The Memorial So Its Like A Balance Of Shapes.
Framing:
The Center Of Attention Would Be The Lady Holding The Flag.
Avoiding Mergers:
Its The Son And Father Is Like The Center Of The Attention.

Aperture-
A aperture controls the amount of light that reaches a digital camera sensor.
Shutter-
a shutter is a device that allows light to pass for a determined period of time, for the purpose of exposing photographic film or a light-sensitive electronic sensor to light to capture a permanent image of a scene.
Exposure-
Exposure is the total amount of light allowed to fall on the photographic film during the process of taking a photograph.
Depth Of Field-
Depth of field is the range of distance within the subject that is acceptably sharp.
F-Stop-
F-Stop is the focal length divided by the "effective" aperture diameter.
Focal Length-
The focal length of a lens determines its angle of view, and also how much the subject will be magnified for a given photographic position.

Parallax-
The apparent displacement of an observed object due to a change in the position of the observer.
Pentaprism-
A multi sided glass prism housed in the roof of an single-lens reflex camera so that the image that's seen be the lens can be viewed through an optical viewfinder above the lens.
Periscope-
Any of various tubular optical instruments that contain reflecting elements, such as mirrors and prisms, to permit observation from a position displaced from a direct line of sight.
View Finder-
A viewfinder is what the photographer looks through to compose, and in many cases to focus on the picture.

I Picked This Picture Because It Stood Out To Me And Its Really Pretty. iLiked The Subject About How The Photographer Put The Two Little People In The Picture As If Their On A Date.(: There Isnt A Actual Person But Two Toys In It, And There Inst Any Type Of Blur. There Isnt A Focus On The Picture But The Color Really Makes The Picture Interesting, There Isnt Any Warp In The Picture. This Is A Pretty Picture(:
I Picked This Picture As The One iDont Like, I Didnt Like It Because Its Weird And No Good Style Of Capture..The Action In This Picture Are Those Things In The Floor, It Didnt Really Say But iThink It Looks Like A Cemetary, And It Has No Blur. The Focus Is On The Things In The Groung And Doesnt Have A Soft Spot. The Picture Isnt Warped Either... PLAIN Picture.
Well I Like This Picture Because Its Really Unique, Ummmmm And Ha The Picture Is Funny To Look At And It Amuses Me...(:
Well This Picture Didnt Really Pop Out To Me, Every Other Picture Made A Better Impression And I Just Didnt Find Anything That Made The Picture Make Me Like It.
This One Is My Favorite That I Took Of Her Because I Got Her Whole Body And Becasue iLike The Way I Took The Picture And Yeahhhh!(:
Well I Dont Like This Picture Because I Feel As If I Couldve Done Better At Taking The Picture And Yeah But I Still Kindaa Like It..
